The proverbial checkered flag is about to fly on the stock car racing season in Michigan, but there is one “spooktacular” event that will take place on October 24th through the 26th at Kalamazoo Speedway. The World Series of Compacts along with the Midwest Mini Cup Championship will showcase a great weekend of racing action for FWD and RWD four cylinders, FWD V6’s and Mini Cup cars along with Halloween themed fun for the whole family at an admission price of only 10 dollars per day!

The racing action will kick off on Saturday with qualifying set to start at 2 with heat races following at 4. The Mini Cups will run their first of two features for the weekend that will pay a cool $200 to the winner! The track will then go dark for the running of “The Legend of the Sleepy Zoo” that will feature FWD enduro cars and compact FWD racing for 25 laps utilizing a lone spot light on top of the car to guide them around the darkened 3/8 mile! Upon completion of the race, fans big and small are invited to “Trunk or Treat” with the drivers and cars in the pits from 8-9:30.

On Sunday racing action will kick of at 2 with a World Series of Compacts last chance race followed by Mini Cup heat races and a Mini Stock B main. The W.S.C. C main paying $200, Mini Cup feature paying $200 and a W.S.C. B main paying $300 lead up to the two big final events. The RWD Mini Stocks will run a 50 lapper that pays $600 to the winner!. Then the World Series of Compacts will go 75 laps for a whopping $2,222 to win to be paid in all two dollar bills! This marks the highest paying event for these classes in the entire Midwest!
