Zach Westdorp kicked off the Kalamazoo Speedway Enduro Series with a victory in the Veterans 200 Presented by Allstar Performance Sunday night.  Defending series champion Corey Miechels finished a strong second ahead of Alan Thorton, Sam Andrews and Zach Cook.  Dave Miller finished sixth beating out Don Simmons, Shane Flickinger, Terry Ferrell and Harold Bloomer.

After the Enduro it was time for the first Powder Puff event of the 2013 season.  Amy Easey came out on top of the 20 lap event, beating runner-up Lindsey Gernaat more less than one second.  Lauryn Bush finished third ahead of Juliet Sweeter and Gina Mele.  Sarah Porter, Ronda Holtham, Lindsey Sanchez, Ashley Markille and Betty VandenToorn completed the top ten.

This Saturday, June 1st will see the first appearance of 2013 for the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Sprint Series.  A good field of the ultra-fast sprinters is expected for this event. In addition to the Super Sprints, the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Outlaw Super Late Models will be in action, running the “Steensma 50”. Three drivers sit within just 17 points of each other in the battle for the title. Also the Pro Stocks will be in action, running the Pro Stock Cash Bash Presented by Best Way Disposal.
