Great Weather, Great Racing & a Ton of Fun Expected Tonight @ Kalamazoo Speedway!

TONIGHT, June 24 the 2016 Kalamazoo Speedway season continues with a full 5 in 1 show featuring the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Outlaw Super Late Models, Super Stocks, Pro Stocks, Outlaw Cyber Stocks and Flip Flop Cyber Stocks. Tonight also marks the second of four Spectator Drag events of the season as fans put their street legal vehicles and their courage on the line and race each other one on one.  The first round of the Spectator Drags thrilled the crowd and tonight promises to be no different!

Last week Tom Thomas picked up the win in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Outlaw Super Late Model division, becoming the sixth different winner in the first six events of the season.  In addition to Thomas, drivers expected to contend for the victory this week include point leader Rick Senneker, 3-time defending champion Mike “Bubba” Brooks, Mark Shook, former Plymouth Speedway Late Model champion Adam Terry and Matt Frazier.

In the Super Stock division, defending champion and point leader Buddy Head is looking to rebound after a disappointing finish last Friday, where Cory Pressler picked up the upset victory..  Look for 4-time track champion Kenny Head, the Pressler brothers and others to try and keep the point leader out of victory lane for the second consecutive week. Greg Brown picked up the win last week in the ultra-competitive Pro Stock division but defending champion Matt Corliss, Keith Wilfong, Barry Jenkins and more will be looking to park their cars in victory circle tonight. In the Outlaw Cyber Stocks, Dan Rigoni enters the night as the favorite but Brian Gregersen, Doug Nelson, Larry Richardson and the rest of the division will be trying to keep Rigoni out of victory lane yet again, as Nick Layman did with his upset victory last Friday. Finally the Flip Flop Cyber Stocks see Lane Head enter the night as the odds on favorite, while Tony LoBretto, Joey Failing, Travis Reniger, Valerie Bozell, Nick Failing and a whole fleet of Rent-a-Rides look to keep him from picking up another win, including international driver John Hayter from the Isle of Man, UK.  .

On any given night, anything can happen. Favorites can falter, history can be made. Don’t miss out!  Gates open at 4:30, group qualifying starts at 5:30 with racing starting at 7:30.
