Future NASCAR Star Ross Kenseth to Compete in Kalamazoo Klash XIX!!!

Ross Kenseth, son of 2003 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Matt Kenseth, has announced that he will compete in Kalamazoo Klash XIX coming up Wednesday night, August 17 at Kalamazoo Speedway.  Kenseth will drive a car prepared and owned by Bozell Racing, the team that fields the cars currently first and second in the current Outlaw Super Late Model point standings.

Ross’s father Matt competed in Kalamazoo Klash II, a race won by Andy Bozell,  on his way to becoming a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion.  Despite having big shoes to fill Ross has been making quite a name for himself in the racing world.  In 2009 young Ross won the Big 8 Series Late Model championship.  In 2010 Kenseth won a CRA Super Series event at the legendary Winchester Speedway and won an ASA Midwest Tour event at Madison International Speedway.  In addition to his race wins Ross was named Speed 51’s prestigious #1 Short Track Draft Pick earlier this year.

Kenseth’s obvious talent combined with a Bozell Racing car should provide young Ross Kenseth with a great chance of adding the Kalamazoo Klash onto his list of victories.  For more details on Kalamazoo Klash XIX log onto kalamazoospeedway.com.
