This Saturday night, September 6 will see one of the fan’s favorite annual events return to the Zoo with the running of “Call of the Wild Presented by Raceceiver and Willow Lake Lodge”. This event is a wide open “Run What Ya Brung Outlaw Spectacular” that will see drivers attempt to break the world record of 10.020 seconds around a 3/8 mile track, which was set by Andy Bozell in this event in 2011. In addition to the “Willow Lake Lodge Qualifying Showdown” where drivers will take attempts at the world record and be going after the $750 bonus for the fastest qualifying time of the night, there will also be a fifty lap feature paying $1500 to the winner. In addition to the featured “Outlaw V-8” division there will also be “Outlaw Mini Stocks” and “Outlaw FWD Cars”. The event does have a rain date of Sunday, September 7.
