21 Kalamazoo Speedway Drivers Ranked in NASCAR’s Finalist Program

Matt Corliss leads a list of 21 Kalamazoo Speedway drivers currently ranked in NASCAR’s Finalist Program for asphalt tracks in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.  Corliss, who currently leads the Super Stock point standings, is 41st in Division III points.  He has five top-5’s and nine top-10’s in nine events of 2011.  Defending Super Stock champion Buddy Head is currently 47th in the national standings.  Eric McGlothlen (50th), Chris Shannon (67th) and Jamison Russell (91st) are also ranked in the top 100.

In Division IV point leader Toby Montgomery is the top Kalamazoo representative in 31st.  Toby has one win, eight top-5’s and nine top-10’s in ten events this season.  Lloyd Brooks is currently ranked 35th nationally ahead of Keith Wilfong (40th), Tyler Hufford (54th), Bob Metheny (63rd) and Scott Elsey (71st).

Cyber Stock point leader Doug Smith has moved all the way to 13th in the nation in Division V.  Smith has won four of the ten races in 2011 and has nine top-5’s.  Nick Layman (16th), Bryen Pion (31st), Jerry Jansen III (34th), Kaylee Misak (40th), Cliff Lambert (62nd), Lauryn Rousseau (67th), Bob Miller (77th), Doug Nelson (81st) and Dan Denbraber (85th) complete the Kalamazoo Speedway drivers ranked in the top 100.
