This Saturday night, June 7 Kalamazoo Speedway will treat race fans to not one, not two, but three premier divisions of racing in one single night! The night will be highlighted by the only 2014 appearance of the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Winged Super Sprint Series. The Auto Value Super Sprints (AVSS) bring down force pavement racing to racetracks all around the country. The AVSS series features 410 cubic inch powered winged sprint cars that race on paved racetracks from 1/4 mile to 5/8 mile in length. The cars race on Hoosier Tires and reach top speeds well over 140 mph. Kalamazoo Speedway will be the second stop on the AVSS tour this season. Drivers expected to attend include Jimmy McCune, Jason Blonde, Joe Swanson, Chris Neuenschwander, Jacob Wilson and several more.

The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Outlaw Super Late Model division at Kalamazoo Speedway has seen some unbelievable racing this year with five different winners in the first seven races of the season. This Saturday night the action promises to continue with the running of the “Shifters 50”. Mike “Bubba” Brooks is the only driver to win more than once and that has vaulted him to the top of the point standings as we head into the summer stretch. His point lead is slim 44 points however over AJ Foote, who picked up his first victory in the division two weeks back. John Chapman, Luke Krick and Todd Harrington all have had impressive seasons and sit third through fifth in the standings but none of them have visited victory lane yet. One driver that has visited victory lane is John Long, who won the “Scott’s Cards 50” three weeks ago but has not returned to the track since then. Long is expected to make his return this Saturday night and once again be a contender for the victory.

Also making their only 2014 appearance at Kalamazoo Speedway this Saturday night will be the Top Speed Modified Tour. This series has seen some fantastic car counts this season and Saturday night should be no different. Upwards of 40 Modifieds are expected to challenge the high banks of the Zoo. Drivers expected to contend for the victory include Jordan Pruitt, Derrick Griffin, Travis Eddy, Dave Dobbins, Chad Poole and many more.
