The Friday, July 3 and Sunday, July 5 Races Have Been Cancelled.

Kalamazoo Speedway moved forward with its revised 2020 season once Executive Orders permitted us to do so.  We have responsibly worked with local officials as well as adopted the numerous safety protocols reflected in the Executive Orders so our guests would feel safe when visiting the Speedway.

About 24 hours before we were to welcome fans and drivers to the Season Opener on Friday, July 3, Kalamazoo Speedway was advised that it fell under Executive Order 133.  While this order was promoted as enabling the resumption of professional sports, the Executive Order represents a step backwards for Kalamazoo Speedway.  Previous Executive Orders permitted us to have spectators in the stands and the skyboxes.  Executive Order 133 prohibits all live audiences.

We cannot adequately express how disappointed and disturbed we are by this sudden and unexpected turn of events.  We deeply regret that we are not able to welcome you to the Speedway on July 3.

We do not know when live audiences at sporting events will be permitted and we will keep you informed as we have news to share.  We will post information regarding refunds on Monday, July 6. Thank you for your patience and understanding.   Please stay safe.
