Lapierre Wins Veterans 200 Enduro

Greg Lapierre kicked off the 2012 Belle Tire Enduro Series season with a win at Kalamazoo Speedway on Sunday.  Lapierre battled the entire race with veteran driver Tristan Dupuis who finished 2nd just over 6 seconds behind Lapierre.  The father and son team of Shane and Dave Miller finished 3rd and 4th respectively ahead of Barry Jenkins and defending series champion Jim Cauffman.  Rounding out the top ten were Robert Boersen, Don Simmons Sr., Corey Miechiels and Larry Blanchard. 

The next event for the Belle Tire Enduro Series will be the biggest event of the season for them, the Belle Tire Stars & Stripes Enduro on Tuesday, July 3rd.  The event will pay $5,000 to win and will be run on the fan favorite, R-oval at the Zoo.  After then event will be the famous Kalamazoo Speedway fireworks!

This Saturday night at Kalamazoo Speedway will be one of the biggest events on the calendar as the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Winged Super Sprint Series makes its return to the Zoo! If that isn’t enough to get you excited we will throw in Outlaw Super Late Models running for 50 laps in the Gun Lake Casino 50. The Pro Stocks will also be in action, as will the Cyber Stocks with the running of Cyber Mania presented by Weller Auto Parts. This promises to be an action packed evening.
