Kalamazoo Klash XXII Entry List Continues to Grow, Now at Over 60 Late Models Between Two Races!!

Kyle Busch, David Ragan, Ross Kenseth, Gilliland, Campbell, Brooks, Braden, VanDoorn, Bozell, and Finley Among star studded entrants for Kalamazoo Klash XXII featuring Outlaw Super Late Models and ARCA/CRA Super Series drivers

Kalamazoo, MI – The cornerstone event of the 2014 season at Kalamazoo Speedway is right around the corner with less than a week before some of the nations most talented and followed race drivers ascend on southwest lower Michigan. The “Klash” will take place on Wednesday night, August 13 at 6:30 p.m. is presented by Boyne Machine and Enterprise Iron and Metal, and will be headlined by NASCAR Champion and short-track ace Kyle Busch who will race at “The Zoo” for the very first time.

The Outlaw Super Late Model field includes early confirmed entries from drivers such as Terry Senneker, Mike Brooks, Tom Thomas, Andy Bozell, Scott Hantz, Brian Bergakker and Adam Terry to name a couple. Other names include Raber, Landis, Maxim, Foote, Shannon, Russell and Ganus among the 37 currently pre-entered drivers with more anticipated, who will all be vying for the $10,000 winners purse and trophy.

Kyle Busch, who takes on the nickname ‘Rowdy’ as made famous in the movie Days of Thunder driving the #51, will pull rare short-track double-duty, driving a Toyota powered Outlaw Super Late Model fielded by legend Bob Blount, as well as his own Kyle Busch Motorsports #51 Toyota Camry ARCA/CRA Super Series car.

The Boyne Machine Company 100 Template Super Late Model field appears to be just as strong with entries including Ross Kenseth, Todd Gilliland, David Ragan, Brian Campbell, Johnny VanDoorn, Travis Braden, Joe Bush, and Chad Finley to name a handful. The ARCA/CRA Super Series always puts on some of the best side-by-side short track racing anywhere, and will be the $5,000-to-win prelude to the outlaw event, making it easily one of the largest short track racing nights of the 2014 season anywhere in the country.
