Jerry Martin Passes Away

Long time Kalamazoo Speedway employees, Buster & Jan Martin lost their son last week after a long hard fought battle with cancer. Jerry Martin grew up at Kalamazoo Speedway and will be remembered for his love of racing. He was always working on race cars, creating art work for drivers and designing Kalamazoo Speedway apparel. Last year, Jerry built a Zoo Stock and in his inaugural season, won an event at both Kalamazoo & Galesburg Speedways.  

The family has requested donations be made to the Fifth Third Bank (Plainwell branch) through the Account of Jerry (Buster Jr.) Martin. The donations will be used to cover the cost of his cremation and his trackside service.  Any questions in regards to a donation can be directed to Mandie Edwards at the Plainwell Fifth Third branch (269-685-8359).
