The track is cleaned up from the Red, White & Boom and we’re back to weekly racing. Friday, July 1 we’ve got the Template Late Models, Street Stock, Outlaw FWD and the Zoo Stock all racing.
July 1 is Race #2 for the Hutcherson Grand Slam with a purse of $1,500 to win. Kenny Head, Billy Shannon and Buddy Head were the top three in Race #1 and have qualified for the Grand Slam Finale. The top 3 drivers in each of the three qualifying races will be locked into the Finale (August 12), the remainder of the field will be drawn from the top Template drivers in Speedway competition points as August 5 to bring the field to 12. Drivers for the Templates may purchase and run 3 new tires for this race. The winner of the July 1 race is automatically locked into the Template Late Model race at Kalamazoo Klash XXX.
Madhouse restarts will be used for the Street Stock and Template Late Model features.
Pit Pass Punch Cards, Grandstand Punch Cards and coupons are valid for tonight’s program. Coolers 14 inches and smaller may be brought into the grandstands, no glass.
