The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Outlaw Super Late Models put on a thrilling 75 lap feature Saturday night at Kalamazoo Speedway with AJ Foote emerging victorious and bringing home the $1,500. Mike “Bubba” Brooks finished a solid second to retain the points lead while Luke Krick, Rick Senneker and Billy Shannon rounded out the top five. Todd Harrington led the second half of the top ten over John Chapman, Matt Krywosinski, fast qualifier Matt Frazier and former Super Stock champion Matt Corliss.

The Super Stock division also put on fantastic race with fast qualifier Buddy Head picking up the victory after starting dead last. Scott Rugg finished second ahead of Kelli Jo Hofacker, Chris Shannon and Jerry Pierman. Jake Hopwood finished a solid sixth beating out Rodney Spencer, Geoff Drouin, Jordan Hunderman and David Guarino. Buddy Head and Kenny Head won the heats.

John Foote Jr. methodically worked his way from the back of the pack to pick up the victory in the Pro Stock feature over former champion Greg Haynes, Budd Hybels, Barry Jenkins and Ryan Beadle. The second half of the top ten was led by Keith Wilfong over Ed Burgen, Doug Smith, Steve Roden and Dave Hopwood. Foote Jr. also set quick time and won his heat race, while Hybels won the other heat.

As usual the Mini Stock division put on another great event with Chuck Greer holding off point leader and fast qualifier Jerime Damron to win the 25 lap feature. Chaz Hook finished third ahead of Andrew Brest and Billy Bussema. Jeremy Collins finished sixth beating out former Cyber Stock champion Keith Dunham, Nolan Potter, Noah Gallandt and Sierra Lantz. Bussema and Lantz collected the heat race victories.

The Cyber Stocks saw a Jansen end the night in victory lane Saturday, but probably not the one most people expected. Young Kyle Jansen held off a hard charging Keegan Dykstra to collect the victory in the 20 lap feature. Josh Roberts finished third ahead of Brian Gregersen and Drew Maxwell. The second half of the top ten was led by Doug Nelson over Bob Miller, Scott Custer, Ryan Hufford and Dan Rigoni. Cliff Lambert once again proved that he has a fast hot rod as he picked up fast time while DJ Oxford and Maxwell won the heat races.
