Aaron Rheinsburg Wins Veterans 200 Presented by Steensma

After 200 laps Aaron Rheinsburg was only 5.604 seconds ahead of Tristan Dupuis but that was all he needed to win the Veterans 200 Presented by Steensma Sunday night at Kalamazoo Speedway. Dupuis finished second ahead of Shane Miller, Dave Miller and Alan Thorton. Mark Rozell led the second half of the top ten beating out Jeff Cauffman, Jerred Stout, Brock Sweeter and Lindsey Gernaat.

Chris Jennings emerged victorious in the thirty lap Vores Compact Touring Series feature over Todd Metz Jr., Mike Westphall, William Hartmann and Ron Fizzell. Mara Eaton finished sixth beating out Cole Roelofs, Mark Jennings, Ryan Barrett and Steve Vare.

The fifteen lap Powder Puff race was won by Ashley Markille over Juliette Sweeter, Mandy Putnam, Mari McEndarfer and Ruth Beldon.

The Four Cylinder Enduro Series takes a month off before their next event, the Stars & Stripes Enduro Presented by Shifters on Friday night July 4th. The night will feature the largest fireworks display in Kalamazoo Speedway history!

Next Saturday, May 31st NASCAR Whelen All American Series action returns to the Zoo with a SIX in one show featuring the “Little Caesars 50” for the Outlaw Super Late Models. The Super Stocks and Pro Stocks will also be in action with the Super Stocks running for $750 to win. Also on the card will be the USAC HPD Midget series. The Mini Stocks will run for $400 to win while Cyber Stocks will complete the program.
