Bozell and Osterhouse Score Big Wins at Kalamazoo Speedway
The Kalamazoo Speedway returned to action this past Friday night featuring the debut of the Munson Construction Late Models and AFCO Racing Limited Late Models in an exciting evening of racing competition.
The Munson Builders Late Models saw Collin Bozell park his machine in victory lane after holding off Zachary Maynard for the feature victory. Nick Pressler crossed the line in third, followed by Jeff Ganus and Taylor Sexton rounding out the top five finishers. Jeff Ganus set fast time during qualifying with a lap of 14.137 seconds.
In the AFCO Racing Limited Late Models division, Jerry Osterhouse captured his first-ever A Feature victory at Kalamazoo Speedway in impressive fashion. Mason May finished second with Josh Frye, Bryce Bozell, and Logan Delayre completing the top five. Heat race victories went to Jerry Osterhouse and Keith Wilfong, while Josh Frye earned fast time honors with a lap of 13.300 seconds.
The Techworks Trailer Sales Street Stocks feature saw Ricky LaDuke pick up the feature win over Jeffrey Town, Alex Sexton, Luke Krick, and Kyle VanSparrentak. Brock Ganus and Anthony Duell each collected heat race victories. Ricky LaDuke also set fast time in qualifying with a lap of 14.921 seconds.
The O'Reilly Auto Parts Front Wheel Drive A Feature belonged to Matthew Elsey Jr., who drove to victory over Dave Leonard Jr., Scott Elsey, Nick Layman, and Braydyn Loop.
In the Spartan Insulation & Coating Company Front Wheel Drive B Feature, Bubba Darrow earned his first-ever feature victory ahead of Brittany Bennett, Gunner Gale, Dayton Brady, and Nick Ruimveld.
The Joe Shmoe's Bar & Grill Front Wheel Drive C Feature saw Luke Hosner take home the victory over Brandon Tripp, Don Teadt, Anthony Randt, and Logan Swartz.
Front Wheel Drive heat race winners included Braydyn Loop, Steve Thompson, Andrew Randt, and Jacob Skinner. Nick Layman earned fast time honors in the Front Wheel Drive division with a lap of 15.215 seconds.
