Track Talk: Kalamazoo Speedway Gears Up for 2026
As the calendar turns to a new year, the Kalamazoo Speedway team is already hard at work preparing for an exciting 2026 season. From rules and payouts to schedules and special events, plenty of updates are now in place for drivers, teams, and fans alike.
The 2026 rules have officially been posted and are available now in the Drivers Section of the Kalamazoo Speedway website. Competitors are encouraged to review this information early as preparations begin for another competitive season at the Zoo.
Before attention fully shifts to 2026, the Speedway will celebrate the accomplishments of the 2025 season with the annual awards banquet, set to take place at FireKeepers Casino. The night is shaping up to be a memorable celebration honoring our drivers, champions, and the Top 10 finishers in each class.
2025 Kalamazoo Speedway Awards Banquet Details:
Date: February 21
Doors Open: 4:30 PM
Event Time: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Location: FireKeepers Casino
Tickets are still available, but time is running out. The final day to purchase tickets is February 7, and no tickets will be sold at the door. Anyone planning to attend should contact Donnie to reserve their spot.

Looking ahead, 2026 pit spot renewals and new assignments will be opening shortly, along with skybox rentals. The Speedway is currently onboarding a new team to manage the track phone system and skybox rental process. During this transition, patience is appreciated as improvements are made to enhance the overall experience for competitors and fans.
