For the 2026 season, Kalamazoo Speedway has placed a strong focus on our weekly drivers. As a result, you will see increased payouts throughout the field, including higher start money. Each weekly class will also feature one special event on the 2026 schedule.

Tire Policy

Kalamazoo Speedway will implement a two-tire per night policy for the following divisions:

Late Models: Hoosier Tire (compound TBA)

Limited Late Models: Hoosier 980

Street Stocks: Hoosier 890

Front Wheel Drive: Hoosier 790 (No tire Impound)

Weekly Points – Throw-Out Night

2026 Weekly Points Championship – Throw-Out Night Policy

For the 2026 season, Kalamazoo Speedway will allow one (1) throw-out night per driver in the weekly points championship.

  1. At the end of the season, each driver’s lowest points night will be dropped from their total.
  2. If a driver misses one race, the zero-point night will be used as their throw-out.
  3. If a driver competes in every points race, their lowest scoring night will be dropped.

After the throw-out night is applied, each driver’s final championship total will be calculated using one fewer points night than the total number of scheduled points races.

Example:
If a class has 12 points nights, each driver’s championship total will be based on their best 11 nights.
