Great Lakes Outlaw Late Models Series heads back to Kzoo in 2011

Great Lakes Outlaw Late Model Series officials have announced they will be back at the Kalamazoo Speedway in 2011.  The Great Lakes Outlaw Late Model Series will once again take over the world’s fastest 3/8-mile track on July 16, 2011 offering $2,000 to the winner.

The series has also decided to look at additional options going into 2012 and have decided to run the race at Kalamazoo Speedway on the new Hoosier 9” slick tire.  This cost effective tire will save teams money while start money will still cover the cost of the tires.

“This race will be a great opportunity for drivers to try the new tire as this event will be somewhat of a pre-Klash race, running the same slick Kalamazoo Speedway will be running on their Klash & Klash Tune-Up race, which is about a month after this event will be run,” stated Gary Howe, Promoter of the Kalamazoo Speedway.
