Aaron Rheinsburg dominated the Spring Fling 200 Saturday at Kalamazoo Speedway in the opening round of the Belle Tire Enduro Series. Rheinsburg beat endure veteran Brian Amos, former series champion Randy Clingan, Sam Andrews and Jim Cauffman. Corey Miechiels, Bryan Deering, Don Simmons Sr., Alan Breuker and Jerrud Stout rounded out the top ten. Rheinsburg also picked up the bonus for the highest finishing four door while Cauffman had the highest finishing car with an automatic transmission. Brock Sweeter picked up the bonus for the highest finishing station wagon by placing 18th and Alan Thorton picked up a bonus for flipping and continuing on to finish 21st.
Next up for Kalamazoo Speedway is another full 5 in 1 show coming up this Saturday night, May 7. It will also be the first autograph night of the year so get there early and meet your favorite driver on the track at 6pm. The Outlaw Super Late Models will highlight the show with a 50 lap feature where Phil Bozell will look to extend his point lead over Tom Thomas, Rick Sexton, John Chapman and Andy Bozell. The Modifieds will also be in action with a special $750 to win race and some outsiders expected to be challenging Matt Bainbridge, Brent Hook, defending champion Mike Brooks and the rest of the local contingent.
