Phil Bozell charged from deep in the field and then made a late pass on Randy Day to win his second Super Shoe Nationals Sunday afternoon at Kalamazoo Speedway. Mark Shook had another impressive Super Shoe run with a runner-up finish in his Scott’s Cards Machine. Day held on to finish third ahead of Billy Shannon and Tom Thomas. Phil Massuch, Jerry Drake, Mike Brooks, Andy Bozell and Randy Chupp rounded out the top ten.
Todd Metz Jr. set quick time and won the inagural Mini Shoe Nationals. Kyle Crump, Nick Layman, Clark Smith and Steve Emmans completed the top five. Cyber Stock regular Doug Smith was sixth ahead of Mike Tabbert, Scott Moore, Darrell Holtzlander and Aaron Rheinsburg.

The final race of the Kalamazoo Speedway season is up next with the Pumpkin Patch Enduro presented by Belle Tire on Saturday October 16. The race will one again be run as a road course but will be a three hour event this time.
