Eric McGlothlen, who currently holds a slim 5 point edge is the Super Stock standings, has jumped up to 42nd in the nation in Division III of NASCAR’s finalist program. McGlothlen has one win, three top-5’s and five top-10’s in his first five starts of 2011. Other Kalamazoo drivers ranked in the top 100 in Division III are: Jake Hopwood (54th), Chris Shannon (57th), Jamison Russell (58th), Matt Corliss (60th) and Buddy Head (67th).
In Division IV Lloyd Brooks is the top Kalamazoo driver in the national standings; currently in 38th. Brooks has two wins and five top-5’s in the first five races of 2011. Keith Wilfong (45th), Toby Montgomery (53rd), Tyler Hufford (67th), Scott Elsey (96th) and Bob Metheny (98th) are also currently ranked in the top 100.
Cyber Stock point leader Doug Smith has cracked the top 10 in Division V as he is currently ranked 9th. Smith has three wins and has finished in the top-5 of all five events. Nick Layman (12th), Jerry Jansen III (21st), Bryen Pion (27th), Cliff Lambert (67th), Kaylee Misak (69th), Lauryn Rousseau (71st), Bob Miller (84th), Tim Towne (88th), Jerry Jansen Jr. (92nd) and Doug Nelson (98th) are the other Cyber Stock drivers currently ranked in the top 100.
