Last Saturday, May 10th - Mother Nature blessed us with some warm sunshine, even though she gave us a little scare around 8PM. With over 100 cars in the pits, our fans were treated to a little of everything, from our regular class of Mods, Sportsmans, & Pure Stocks, as well as the Cyber Stocks, Outlaw Midgets, and the Super Cup Cars.
In the Modified Feature, Jeff Ganus spoiled an all BS Motorsports night, as Brian Bergakker scored the win, Jeff was 2nd, followed by BS Motorsports driver Mark Fliearman, Chris Orr and Dan Fraizier. Courtney Weston had a great run, winning the Sportsman A Feature, followed closely by Tony Staffen, Cory Kruzel, Brandon Zachary, and Clay Rogers. Greg Haynes showed his stuff in the Pure Stock A Feature, out running Butchy Glass, Jacob Caines, Lloyd Brooks, and Brad Shellenbarger.
The Cyber Stock action is starting to get wild, as this new class is starting to grow and first time driver Keith Dunham scored the win. Jordan Hunderman finished in second with Shawn Misak finishing third, with Brian Neece & Ken Knapp rounding out the top five spots. David Byrne scored the Outlaw Midget Feature with Jim DeBacke winning the Super Cup Feature.
Next weekend, May 17th, the Late Models make their return, as they will be tuning up for the next Klash Series event, on Memorial Day Weekend. We will also have the Modifieds, Sportsman, and Pure Stocks all pounding the pavement at Southwest Michigan’s Entertainment Hot Spot, the Kalamazoo Speedway!
