Based on the strength of one win, three top-5’s and five top-10’s Chris Shannon has jumped to 48th in Division III of NASCAR’s Finalist Program for asphalt tracks. Shannon, who is 5th in Super Stock point standings at Kalamazoo, is now the top ranked Kalamazoo driver in the Finalist Program. Eric McGlothlen, who has been the top Kalamazoo driver the majority of the season, is now 51st in Division III ahead of Matt Corliss (54th), Buddy Head (65th), Jamison Russell (70th) and Jake Hopwood (78th).
In Division IV, Keith Wilfong has just one win but also has five top-5′s and six top-10’s which is good enough for 43rd place overall. Lloyd Brooks (62nd), Tyler Hufford (67th), Toby Montgomery (75th) and Scott Elsey (79th) are also ranked in the top 100.
Finally in Division V, Nick Layman has moved all the way to 12th based off of his two wins and six top-5’s in the first six events of 2011. Doug Smith (13th), Bryen Pion (32nd), Jerry Jansen III (37th), Cliff Lambert (55th), Lauryn Rousseau (67th), Jerry Jansen Jr. (74th), Kaylee Misak (80th) and Bob Miller (85th) are also all ranked in the top 100.
