All-Star Shoout Break-Down

With one week of racing left (weather permitting) before the points can be set to fill the field for the All-Star Showdown, here is what WE KNOW….

DRIVERS that will NOT be racing in the All-Star Last Chance Race on Saturday, July 3rd (paying $1,000 to win, taking three finishers to race for $5,000 on Sunday)

*Andy Bozell (Intimidator 100 qualifier, 1 feature win)
*Steve Needles (Intimidator 100 qualifier, 1 feature win)
*Terry Senneker (Intimidator 100 qualifier, 1 feature win)
*Brandon Lyons (1 feature win)

We have the Lane 75 for Outlaw Late Models set for THIS SATURDAY, where we will race for $1,250 and take the top 3 drivers from that feature and add them to the qualifiers for this race (could bring the qualified group from 4 to 7 drivers)

We will then lock in the remaining positions (anywhere from 5 to 13) based on Kalamazoo Speedway points to bring the field to 13. This is another group of drivers that would NOT be racing in the All-Star Last Chance race on Saturday night. This includes the following potential drivers:

*Trent Hellenga (current point leader)
*Tom Thomas
*Phil Bozell
*Billy Shannon
*Rick Sexton
*Randy Day

(If no new drivers lock in through Lane 75… add the following drivers)

*Todd Dougherty

*Rick Senneker

*Mark Shook

(as points stand as of 6/18/10)

The FINAL 3 positions to fill the field for the All-Star Shootout will come from the Last Chance race that we are talking about.  That will take place July 3rd at Kalamazoo!  Three drivers from that race WILL LOCK INTO the Shootout on Sunday, July 4th.  (Raindate Monday, July 5.)  The Last Chance race will NOT involve the above list of drivers (unless there would be a change in points from the “points provisional” list)

THERE IS NO TIRE IMPOUND! Bring your own NON SOAKED 970′s and strap them on!

This is a great chance to hit up another local track, M-40 is off that night, Plymouth does not run Late Models that night, Galesburg is off that night as well with their local divisions. $1,000 to win, a GUARANTEED starting spot paying $5,000 to win on Sunday….
