<p>Intimidator 100 winner Steve Needles is among the drivers expected to challenge Kalamazoo Speedway regulars for the victory in this Saturday night’s Lane 75.  In addition to Needles the Roahrig family with father JR and son Tyler, who set quick time in for the Intimidator 100, are also expected be front runners this Saturday night.  Among the regulars they will be attempting to keep out of victory lane are Andy and Phil Bozell who run first and second in points but have been shut out of victory lane in the first two events of the season.  Trent Hellenga, who set quick time for the Sun Drop 50, appears to be close to his first career victory and this Saturday night could be the perfect time.  Sun Drop 50 winner Brian Bergakker is looking to go back to back while Billy Shannon also is among the Kalamazoo regulars looking to break into victory lane.</p>
<p> Founded in 1964 as a part-time venture in George Lane’s garage, Lane Automotive has become a speed equipment industry phenomenon. Since the days when local racers lined up to buy racing parts at that tiny, one man shop, the company has grown and is comprised of four separate divisions. One thing has remained the same throughout the years of growth at Lane Automotive: the desire to provide the best parts and the best service at competitive prices.  For more information on Lane Automotive visit <a href="http://www.laneautomotive.com/">www.laneautomotive.com</a>.</p>

<p>Two races have been run in the 2012 Outlaw Super Late Model season at Kalamazoo Speedway and the biggest surprise might just be that a Bozell has not won either event.  Despite this fact 12-time champion Andy Bozell and his son, defending champion Phil Bozell, do sit first and second in the point standings heading into the Raceceiver 50 this Saturday night.  Andy leads the points with two second place finishes in the season’s first two events and will be looking to get to victory lane for the first time this Saturday night.  He currently sits just 24 points ahead of his son and 71 points ahead of third place Trent Hellenga.  Hellenga set quick time last week and will look to this Saturday as a chance to cut into the Bozell’s current advantage.  Brian Bergakker showed that he is the real deal by driving to victory in last week’s Sun Drop 50 and has moved to fourth in the standings, just 77 points out of the lead.  Rounding out the top five in points is 1995 Super Stock track champion Billy Shannon.</p>
<p>Raceceiver will be the sponsor for this Saturday’s event.  Information on Raceceiver is available online at <a href="http://www.raceceiver.com/">http://www.raceceiver.com/</a>.</p>

<p> Through their “Johnny’s Bucks” program, Johnny’s Auto Sales will effectively add $200 to the purse for Saturday Night’s Cyber Stock Goat Roper 25 presented by Scott’s Cards event at Kalamazoo Speedway. The 5th-8th place finishers in the 25 lap Cyber Stock feature will have additional bonus money of $75-55-40-30 added to their total, provided they have a Johnny’s Bucks contingency decal on their car. <p>Current Outlaw Super Late Model point leader Andy Bozell also leads the current 92.5 WZUU Hard Charger Award standings after two weeks of competition.  Bozell has improved his position by 23 places in just two events to lead the points by just 4 markers over second place Trent Hellenga.  Hellenga started 18th in the season opening Intimidator 100 and 15th in last weeks Sun Drop 50 and drove into the top ten in both events, but still sits 4 points behind the 12-time champion in the Hard Charger standings.  Phil Bozell is 6 points behind his father in third, just ahead of Luke Krick and a fifth place tie between Randy Chupp and Sun Drop 50 winner Brian Bergakker.</p>
<p>92.5 THE ZUU is the presenting sponsor of the Hard Charger Award for the Outlaw Super Late Models and will present the winner with $250 and a plaque at the 2012 Kalamazoo Speedway Awards Ceremony. Points will be kept all season long and the driver with the most points at the end of the season will win the award. A driver will earn one point for each position improved during an ‘A’ Feature (based on scheduled starting position). For example if a driver starts 14th and finishes 5th, that driver will earn 9 points towards the Hard Charger Award. 92.5 THE ZUU will also be the sponsor of the July 28th Outlaw Super Late Model feature, which will be titled the “WZUU 92.5 Shootout”. You can visit 92.5 THE ZUU online at <a href="http://www.wzuu.com/">www.wzuu.com</a>.</p>
